Getting Started

There are a few simple steps to download archived files of a website from the Internet Archive using Web Archive Downloader.

1. If you know beforehand the particular year for which you would like to download the archived files of your website do as follows:

1.1 Click on the Calendar icon and chose the year for which you would like to download the archived website.

1.2 Enter site URL.

1.3 Click Get URL list and wait for Web Archive Downloader to load files’ URL list for the archived website.

1.4 Click Get Years to get information about archived years for each URL.

1.5 To download the archived website to a particular folder go to Settings and Set folder in which the downloaded files will be saved and click OK.

1.6 Click Download to download the archived files to predefined folder.

2. If you don’t have a preferred year for which you would like to download archived files follow theses steps:

2.1 Enter Site URL and click “Get URL list” button.

2.2 After archived URL list loads click “Get Years” to get information about archived years for each URL.

2.3 Set year filter with the help of Start and End year menus.

2.4 Click “Get archive URLs”  to get download links by years for each file URL.

2.5 To download the archived website to a particular folder go to Settings and Set folder in which the downloaded files will be saved and click OK.

2.6 Click Download to download the archived files to predefined folder.
